Berean Bible is built on the principle that Scripture should be freely accessible without barriers. That extends to your privacy. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Period.

What Data We Collect

None. Berean Bible does not collect any personal information. We have no accounts, no login, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies for advertising, and no third-party data sharing.

Local Storage

Your bookmarks, highlights, notes, reading progress, and settings are stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device. We cannot access it, and it is not transmitted to any server.

Data stored locally includes:

• Bookmarked and highlighted verses
• Personal study notes
• Reading plan progress
• Theme and font preferences
• Search history
• Last reading position

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's site data or using the app's settings.

Bible Text

The Berean Standard Bible (BSB) text used in this application is in the public domain (CC0). No licensing restrictions apply to your use of the Scripture text.

Third-Party Services

Berean Bible does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any similar tools.

The web version is hosted on Cloudflare, which may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of its infrastructure. These logs are managed by Cloudflare under their own privacy policy. We do not access or process these logs.

Children's Privacy

Berean Bible does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, there is no children's data to protect.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page with the new effective date. Given that our core principle is zero data collection, we do not anticipate significant changes.
